In 2008 the DOD adopted a new standard for supportability analysis, GEIA-STD-0007, replacing the canceled MIL-STD-1388-2B. This new standard is being implemented by an increasing number of defense programs using SLICwave’s powerful 0007 dual-use module, now enhanced to comply fully with Rev A of the standard.

GEIA-STD-0007-A provides an alternative approach to managing and exchanging logistics product data, focusing on structured data definition and transfer based on XML (Extensible Markup Language). ISS’s comprehensive 0007 module totally satisfies the requirements for compliance.
