Integrated Support Systems, Inc. (ISS) is pleased to announce the release of the latest version of its SLICwave software. With the release of SLICwave v5.1, ISS has made further improvements to the user interface and expanded the web/browser-based accessibility features first introduced in SLICwave v5.0.

New in SLICwave v5.1

  • Redesigned SLICweb™-Vista browser interface with extensive comparison capabilities
     
  • New and innovative capability allows you to easily load information that will appear to users in a dialog box based on a predefined event trigger – providing a powerful capability to set up your own training templates, data entry flows, and quality control procedures.
     
  • More flexible batch processing provides options for managing input/output files. You can:
    • Direct batch outputs results to your local machine
    • Publish batch results (from multiple directories) to different subdirectories for each database, and
    • Load LSA036 data (80-column format) into SLICwave.
       
  • Improved retrieval time for Data Navigation and Listview retrieval
     
  • Added capability to change predefined labels for fields, screens, tabs, and buttons
     
  • Enhanced reporting features with corrections and enhancements to the reporting system (i.e., LSA009, LSA019, LSA024, LSA036, LSA151, and LSA152)
     
  • Simplified Export/Import dialog with support for Microsoft Excel®
     
  • Upgraded support for network configuration and security improvements to include improved certificate management functionality
     
  • Upgraded operating system and database management systems support (i.e., Windows, Solaris, and Oracle)
