Single Common Repository of Supportability/Maintenance Data

The SLICwave/S1000D Interface Module supplies a dynamic and powerful bridge between your Logistics Support data and your Common Source Data Base (CSDB), offering complete visibility over all your supportability data through life cycle for your program models and variants. This provides you with a single “database of authority” for task description, support equipment, spares, supplies, manpower resources identified in the maintenance task analysis and other S1000D data modules. The powerful focus and re-use of your support data provides a huge benefit in cost and schedule reduction, as well as overall improvement in data quality. Additionally, unlike other LSA-S1000D interface tools, which may allow initial creation (or full-file replacement) of S1000D data modules from a (static) LSAR data dump, SLICwave’s S1000D interface module provides the ability to create ongoing “changes” Data Modules, so that the LSA can be used to update the CSDB as part changes occur.
