What's New in SLICwave LC 2.1?

ISS is excited to announce SLICwave LC 2.1's official release! SLICwave LC 2.1 brings a host of upgrades designed to make the customer experience more intuitive, powerful, and aligned with the latest industry standards and initiatives.

User Interface Enhancements

SLICwave LC 2.1 supplements existing capabilities, incorporating user interface improvements like:

  • Expanding SLICwave LC's Web Interface to SLICwave LC S3000L users - including capabilities to implement S-Series primitives for multi-valued attributes.
  • Generating easy-to-read reports for analysis of key IPS performance metrics out of the box.
  • Ability to view/manage 3D files/graphics associated to S1000D Illustrated Parts Display (IPD) Data Modules (DMs) with new Larson Software ("VizEx").

Expanded Support for Industry Standards

SLICwave LC 2.1 expands capabilities for complicance/interoperability with key aerospace and defense standards such as:

  • S3000L Issue 2.1 - Compliant XML data exchange.
  • GEIA-STD-0007 Rev C - 3 new standard reports.
  • S2000M Issue 6.1 - applicability capabilities for higher quality S1000D IPD DMs.

System Administration & API Improvements

SLICwave LC 2.1 makes it easier for IT and development teams to manage and extend the platform with enhancements like:

  • A Command Line Interface for SLICwave LC Administration Utilities, which enables the ability to script common system administration tasks, such as Database Management, Single Sign-On (SSO) Configuration, Service Administration, or Support Processes.
  • New REST API library for expanded integration offerings with existing APIs.
